A Brief History
Drumnamoe Nursery School opened in February 2002, to provide nursery education to the children from the North Lurgan Community. It is a purpose built Nursery, funded partially by the European Childhood Fund and the remainder from the Department of Education. The school is governed by CCMS.
The accommodation comprises of three classrooms, a parents room, an office, a kitchen, a servery and a large front hall.
The school has a spacious outdoor garden with various wooden features including a wooden house, a greenhouse, a boat, a train and an arched willow sculpture.
The present enrolment of the Nursery is 104. This number is catered for in four classes – two full-time (52 pupils) and two part-time an AM class (26 pupils) and a PM class (26 pupils).
